And, because we moved our studio from the Hawkesbury back to the Blue Mountains, we  know both areas extremely well. In fact, our portrait and wedding photography takes our staff anywhere from the city to the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Bathurst and beyond.

The Blue Mountains is famous for it’s spectacular scenery and perfect gardens. There are many unique and historic venues suitable for small intimate nuptial celebrations as well as larger establishments. Within the Hawkesbury district are about a dozen historic and/or unique churches, all perfect for weddings. There are also many beautiful photographic backdrops, including the river, mountains and historic buildings.

To ensure superior image quality, Genesis only use professional films and processing laboratories.  After all, professional photography and professional printing go hand in hand. You may select black and white and cross-processed (fashion) photography, as well as full colour.

There is no extra cost for this, as Genesis simply use the film types that you request.  You don’t have to include Black & White or fashion photos with your wedding photography, the choice is yours.  Your Black & White photographs may be sepia toned and/or hand coloured.

Staff at Genesis genuinely believe that it is very important that you become familiar with your photographer before your wedding day, helping to establish a warm and friendly relationship. To allow this to happen, you are encouraged to have a pre-wedding session. This is complimentary with all album selections.

 Your photographer will photograph you both together at different outdoor locations, so that on your wedding day you will feel more at ease with having photos taken.
